Retaining walls are an essential tool in levelling or building up areas of significance.
If there is machinery access, the large limestone blocks are in trend, have structural strength, look good and are value for money. At a metre long, whether mortared or dry stacked, they quickly establish and maintain a visual impact.
There is also a wide range of smaller stackable blocks with different textures, colours and shapes for every project. Concrete and timber sleepers with galvanised steel uprights also suit a purpose. These sleeper walls can then have fence panelling attached and can cover long distances affordably.
